Medicine and General Surgery
By new pets (NAC), We hear the rodents of course (rat, guinea pig,…), Lagomorphs (Lapin,…), the ferrets…but also reptiles (turtle, serpents,..) as well as birds.
These animals do not have the same “functioning” internal than our classic domestic carnivores. They require particular knowledge as regarding their daily physiology (food, lifestyle,…) only for their medical and surgical care. Anesthesia for these animals is known to be more delicate. For it, we systematize the use of gas anesthesia and analgesics during surgery in order to make it as safe as possible.
From post-acquisition advice to elective or emergency surgery, including hospitalization if necessary, We are able to offer you a wide range of care.
Dr Marie ALLAERT is preparing a state diploma in NAC medicine and surgery (in the broad sense). This skill allows us to offer you an increased quality service for these specific animals.
