Milk Quality
Unmissable in our AOP dairy basin, milk quality is a priority for veterinarians at the Animovet clinic. As such, in addition to regular training followed by our veterinarians, the clinic has everything necessary to :
- track milk recording results : livestock analysis software
- Carry out cellular checks to help detect contaminated quarters or check cellular healing of previously treated cows (optical meter from Laval)
- Carry out bacteriological examinations with a view to prescribing appropriate treatment in the event of clinical/subclinical mastitis or drying up.
- The reasoned prescription for drying up
Get involved in the GTV Bourgogne Franche Comté, we regularly participate in departmental actions around milk quality (creation and delivery of mastitis cell training in partnership with milk control, writing the advice sheet on the correct use of the teat obturator, Breast health plan in partnership with CEL25…).
